Why Isn’t Divorce the Best Option

Slide #1: Divorce would seem to solve all marriage problems with one fell swoop.

Slide #2: It creates more problems than it solves.

Slide #3: The emotional and spiritual bond is never completely severed.

Slide #4: It is not a substitute for genuine emotional healing (so the pain goes on).

Slide #5: You carry the same inner problem issues into the next relationships.

Slide #6: It is the result of at least a hardened heart (that will remain hardened).

Slide #7: It sets children up for a lifetime of emotional and interpersonal problems.

Slide #8: God has a much better plan.
