Join
TLN Chicago as we bring warmth to those who are less fortunate.
As the winter months approach, the Blankets of
Love outreach program will help supply those
in need with a warm blanket for the upcoming winter months.
Midwestern
winters can be very harsh and extremely cold. A Blanket
of Love is one way to show the love of Christ
to families and individuals who will be facing the icy
winds of winter on the streets or unable to afford adequate
heating in Chicagoland this year.
You
can help by donating:
$20
for one “blanket of love”
$40 for two “blankets of love”
$100 for five “blankets of love”
A donation of any amount will used to supply as many blankets as possible
“What
good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith
but
has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister
is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go,
I
wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about
his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself,
if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:14-17
Blankets
of Love; a TLN Outreach:

of religious ministries serving the very poor in the Chicagoland area.
Hesed House partners with PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter, Inc.)
