Daily Connection

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses…let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1

In the Iditarod race, dog mushers from around the world annually competed over 1,100 miles of harsh Alaskan terrain in this grueling test of endurance. On March 13, 2003, Norwegian, Robert Sorley, was the first to finish. Two hours later, Ramey Brooks crossed the finish line. To Brook’s amazement, Sorley was there in the near zero temperatures to greet him. Over the next several hours, all finishers waited to hail those still coming in. (Greg Asimakoupoulos)

Are you facing a long race ahead? Don’t give up. You are not running alone. There is a heavenly audience cheering you on at the finish line. Make it your goal to finish the race and encourage others still on the journey!

Point of Connection: Faith is the daring of the soul to go farther than it can see. William Clarke
