During the Billy Graham Crusade at Shea Stadium in New York, jets landing at nearby LaGuardia created a distracting roar. Before speaking Billy Graham prayed, “Lord, we ask you to shift the wind and send these planes in another direction.” Dramatically the winds changed direction and the airplanes over Shea Stadium were re-routed. At the conclusion of the crusade, the winds reverted to their normal flow, and the airplanes returned to their normal flight patterns. (Bobbye Beverly)
