Payroll/Benefits Coodinator:
Description
The role is responsible for all payroll functions including; time-keeping,
payroll, payroll tax preparation, payment and reporting. Additionally,
the role includes support of Human Resources in employee records,
benefit sign-up and administration. Accuracy and attention to detail
are required in processing bi-weekly payroll. This is a hands on
position that handles the total payroll and benefit suppot responsibility
for a Christian Ministry organization. The work environment is
excellent.
Requirements
*Maintain both MAS90 payroll system and manually approve time sheets.
*Receive and review new hires, terminiations and all payroll adjustments.
*Compute tax and other payroll deductions and liabilities and prepare
check requests or bank transferes.
*Review time sheets from multiple locations for accuracy.
*Ensure data entered into MAS90 system is accurate.
*Print and update payroll checks and supplemental reports.
*Complete direct deposit transfer.
*Prepare quarterly and year-end taxes for State, Federal, Unemployment
etc.
*Assist with the year-end audit.
*Maintain up to date knowledge od payroll trens and laws.
*Schedules receptionists coverage.
