Mari White Presents The Newsboys

Model, actress, and TV host Mari White is now taking her talents behind the scenes to earn the titles of creator, director and producer. As the founder of her own production company, Lady White Entertainment, she strives to bring family friendly, Christian entertainment to viewers everywhere. She has already put in a lot of hard work into making a name for the company, which is named in honor of her late grandmother, and is excited for the debut of the first show under the Lady White brand, “Mari White Presents the Newsboys,” in October.

 “Mari White Presents the Newsboys” follows all four group members-- Michael Tait, Jody Davis, Jeff Frankenstein, and Duncan Phillips-- of one of the most popular Christian bands of all time. The band, which has been around for the last two decades and whom have paved the way for many contemporary Christian music artists today, has 25 #1 hits under their belt and have sold 6 million records. Their most recent album, “Born Again,” also hit the top of the charts. With such success, one would think that these men are living large: although, that is not the case. Mari gives viewers an inside look to see this Grammy nominated band not only in their professional life as they record in the studio, promote their album, and go on tour; but, they will also see how faith shapes the entire lives of these talented performers. When you watch this show, you will feel as though you are joining Mari and her crew as they capture these four astonishing men in their homes and communities, or on the road touching the lives of fans everywhere.

Mari White Presents The Newsboys HOST

Mari White was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in San Antonio, TX along with her twin brother. She holds a BA in Advertising and Communications from University of Texas at Austin, and studied acting at The Actor's Studio Drama School. Mari has appeared on ABC's "All My Children," hosted for ESPN and NET's Icthus Eq, has modeled in various print ads, and is the founder of Lady White Entertainment bringing refreshing Christian and family friendly entertainment to viewers everywhere.
